1. What is Required to Use Venterre?
Venterre runs over the Internet using the ASP model. As a result, the only thing required is a computer with an Internet connection and browser software. No other software is required. Additionally any device with the ability to browse the Internet such as a PDA can be used.
2. What is Needed In Order to Network my Multi-Office Agency?
Networking of your offices is handled by Venterre and is done when the software is set up on our servers. There is no need for any additional investment in IT infrastructure.
3. Is the System Secure?
Yes. Every part of the system has been designed with security in mind. The systems are protected by state of the art firewalls and digital security certificates are utilized on all products. We can also advise on office and staff security policies.
4. What Internet Connection Do I Require?
The vast majority of our clients use an ADSL broadband Internet connection as their main connection. Any reasonably fast connection (512k +) is more than sufficient for the average office.
5. What Happens If My Internet Connection Goes Down:
In the event that your company’s primary Internet connection is temporarily lost, you can simply switch to ISDN or a standard dial up connection until the primary connection is restored. Your data is always safe.
6. I would like to Access My Company System From Home or Abroad, Is this Possible?
Yes, it's exactly the same as you accessing your software within your office.
